Do you dream about singing at the Sydney Opera House with Sydney Philharmonia Choirs? Or sing with more confidence in your local community choir? Our easy and enjoyable Choristers Toolkit workshops are specially designed for choral singers where you can hone your choral skills with our expert music staff.
The two-hour workshops will be held over six Sundays in our Walsh Bay studios by the Harbour covering fundamental vocal and musical skills that every chorister needs: staying in time, nailing those high notes, navigating a vocal score, and much more. Join us!
Who is this for? Perhaps you have sung with our Festival Chorus before and want to step up to one of our auditioned choirs; perhaps you already sing in your local community or church choir; perhaps you once sang in a choir and want to get back into it. You should have basic music reading skills and/or some choral or solo singing experience.
At the end you will feel confident enough to audition for one of our choirs or have new skills and confidence to bring back to your choir.
What will we sing? Each week you will have an opportunity to put your skills into practice in easy and enjoyable choral repertoire.

Cost: $360 per person, including GST. No part payments or refunds (whole or partial) for missed workshops. The deadline for registrations is 5pm, Monday 23 October.

CHORISTERS TOOLKIT | REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED
When you Register for Choristers Toolkit, you will be directed to a page housed by the Sydney Opera House. Sydney Philharmonia Choirs is a Resident Company of the Sydney Opera House and we share a booking system. You will need to log in or register. Your Choristers Toolkit registration will be received by Sydney Philharmonia Choirs.
As you proceed it may look like you are buying an ‘e-ticket’ to an event, but please be assured you are registering for Choristers Toolkit. The 29 October event date you see refers to the first workshop date. Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email from Sydney Opera House.
No booking fee. There is no booking fee for registering to join Choristers Toolkit Workshops.
